In 2020, MCRE acquired the dilapidated Baymont Hotel in Murray, Utah and completed an extensive remodel, converting the property to MCRE’s signature high-design Øslo brand. The Øslo Murray delivered 142 units of attainable class B+ housing to a market in short supply, offering the most affordable market-rate housing and one of the only updated and safe housing solutions to those who don’t qualify for affordable housing, yet can’t afford the current options in the market. Additionally, police calls at this site dropped from almost daily to zero, reducing a hotbed in the city for drug and prostitution use.
